Yesterday was the final day of the youth camp so we did our thing and then tore all of the stuff down. We traveled back to Santiago, where we will be staying until we leave Wednesday. And actually, yesterday Sam, Derek, and Cody were water-baptized at the camp! How awesome?
The plan for today is to do some street ministry, which should be really awesome. For those of you who are praying for us, thank you. Please continue to pray for our team and that God would just give us strength to finish the trip strong and get home safely.
Today is actually our last “ministry day”. We are having a free day tomorrow.
Everyone is staying healthy and well, so praise God.

Sorry I haven’t posted yet today. Just wanted you to know that yesterday was a pretty easygoing day.
Dominique actually spoke the sermon at the service. She did really well!
We got to do some water balloon games and activities with the students at the camp.
We all miss family and friends… but we are having a blast and everyone is doing well.
PS…We actually got to eat at a Burgar King yesterday for lunch after discovering that there was one only a few minutes from the camp. Even though the food hasn’t been bad, our team enjoyed that. :)

Today is the half-way mark for our trip.
I don’t really know how to put into words what happened yesterday at the camp. Everyone there really experienced God in a powerful way. I spoke about how we need the Holy Spirit in our lives and Sam gave his testimony. The service last night really impacted our NLC team as well because we experienced a strong presence of God. Some of the students just couldn’t stop praying and weeping long after the service was over.
Please continue to pray for us and those at the camp. Thank God for His love and awesomeness.

So, yesterday was really amazing… After traveling to LaVega and getting set up for the camp, the guys and I got an opportunity to go minister at a young men’s prison. Sam gave his testimony and I spoke. 30 prisoners came forward to accept Christ into their lives! It was so cool!
Then last night we did a service at the youth camp. The message was about freedom and once again our students got to pray for so many people dealing with everything from guilt and unforgiveness to sickness and disease.
We prayed for one young man to be healed who wasn’t able to breathe out of his nose. And God totally healed him!! He was able to breathe freely add the end of the night.
All glory to God for who he is and the great things he is dong here. We are so blessed and humbled to serve Him.
Talk to you soon…

Today is Day #3 in the Dominican…It feels like we’ve been gone longer than that. Today is the first day of the youth camp that we are working at. The camp is just outside of Santiago in a city called LaVega.
Yesterday was a great day. We spent much of the day in preparation for the camp this week, which involved painting eggs for a giant egg toss (random). Last night was the best though because we got to do a service. Dominique gave her testimony. I gave the message. The guys were just hanging out and playing games with the little kids that were there. One young lady that we know of accepted Jesus into her life!
It was awesome though because at the end of the service, everyone in the audience came forward to be prayed for and our students got to pray for them! How awesome is that?
We are all still healthy and doing well. Thanks for your prayers.
Friends and family, we love and miss you!

Good news… Last night our team from Next Level arrived safely in the Dominican Republic. Our flights went smoothly and the hotel we are staying at is great. We ate a good dinner last night and got some rest in preparation for the camp that we will be ministering at this week. Praise God for getting us here safely. We are excited about the rest of the trip. Keep us in your prayers.
Well, we are off! Today is day one of our Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic. We will be traveling all day and spending lots of time in the airport. Please keep the Dominican youth and our team in prayer over the next few days. We know it is not by our strength. God is the one that changes lives, not people. We are just simply going to be his tool, to serve and love, and fulfill the calling to preach the gospel of Christ.
Parents: Over the next few days we will do our best to keep you updated. Check back daily or subscribe to receive blog updates over email. Additionally, feel free to call the NLC office if you have any questions.
Thank you for all your support.
Blessings,
Will

Well, we are getting ready to head off on Tuesday with a team of seven for the Dominican Republic. We are really excited for what God is going to do in the next ten days. Thankfully all of our money has been raised and all our passports hove come through. Here are some things to keep in prayer for us:
1. Our missionary and his family.
2. The students at the camp we will be working at.
3. Safety in travel.
4. The youth prison we will be ministering at.
5. Our team, that God would change our lives too.
